Yeah, it's beeping but it's normally in a sequence. Can you discern if there's a regular pause that would indicate starting the sequence again?
Normally you'd hear something like 3 short 2 long beeps or 4 long beeps or 2 long 2 short beeps or indeed any combination, something like that.
There are quite a few sites on the net that list beep codes for different BIOS chips so do a google search and looksee if you can find anything that looks familiar.

How many beeps before a pause in the beeps?

Try to remove the ram modules and leave just one. Try it and if that doesn't work try another module by itself.
