Online With A Mod-chip?

am i able to play online games on the PS2 if i have a modchip? i created the network configuration but when i try to load up socom 2 it gets to the authenticating DNAS info screen and freezes.

yes you can, but you need an original game. what you do is:

you turn off your modchip.

different procedures for different modchips.

DMS3 can play games that have been burned online. Most Mod Chips cant.

i'm playing an original disc i was just wondering if having a modchip would prevent ANY online games from working
