  1. #1
my dads comp has a ti4200 (he do multimedia work) and i play games on that comp over the weakend (wtf, hwo did i forget how to spell that word), but anyways, would it be worth it spending 150 dollars on upgrading from a ti4200 128mb to a ti14800 128mb? oh btw, will i see any increase in fps if i get a cheap radeon 9600 non-pro 128mb?

i wouldn't bother to upgrade. wait for something better to come down into your price range.

I'm not sure if its worth to change from ti4200 to ti4800 hundred but what I do know is that the ti4800 is an amazing card, and the one I would pick if I could chose any.

but im talking about the ti4800se.

isnt the ti4800 and 4800se any different?

so i shouldnt bother w/ the radeon 9600 or 4800se?

save some money for a 9700pro or 9800?

thats probaly the best idea or even the nvdia fx5950, which beat the 9800xt in some test (someone posted it on the board)

    I agree.

You will be sorry if you buy another card an hardly notice any performance.
