cillin will not take as much resources as norton and others tend to do......

I never use a Virus scanner, I want maximum system performance.
Perhaps you think that is a foolish decision.
Normally I just can"feel" if my computer has a virus. Because you can hear the CPU processor doing abnormal things after opening a file, or the system is slower, or you can check out the task manager.
I had virusscanners before but they never detected any virusses. But they were there, You can detect them for your self. Example, Winlogon.exe is always at 20%CPU buzzy, I searched on the internet with that problem, found a solution, downloaded a virusscanner for "Worm KLEZ" and voila. But that virus was on mynotebook and I hate my notebook.
So my faith in virusscanners is empty.

All this virus talk kind of got me wondering, what is everyones opinion on the best AV software outthere? I personally use MCAfee, but I dont know if thats the best
I like Norton Anti Virus 2002. I never had a problem and it has caught every virus (through email and Kazaa).

I tried to use the 2003 version but I was unable to use it, it kept telling me that the trial version has expired. So if anybody knows where I can get a full working version, please let me know.

    Thank you!
