For some time i placed alot of faith in spybot search and destroy, i liked the idea of regularly updated bot definitions and was reassured quite alot by this method of tracing spyware, I also had v5.8 of addware which i felt pretty unsafe using, and did not really like it as much as spybot....purley since it was not as simplistic and easy to use....more me being lazy and not playing around with it, however i installed the latest addware and it found 22 items, 19 of which were spyware "Brillian Digital", so i recommend everybody download this, even if they prefer spybot as it seems like most proggies its not 100% successful, its now much safer and better looking, not to mention the addwatcher program which can monitor pop ups and adds whilst you surf....

Yeah, the new adaware rules...and it will pick-up ads that spybot won't and vice versa. Run them both from time to time.
