Thread: Overburning A Movie

    i got a movie, training day to be exact its like juuussssstttt a little to big to burn on a 80min cd and i dont really want to put it on two different cds
    so if it is possible how should i go about doing it
    i got nero and adaptec cd

    I guess that you could zip it, but then you would always have to put the movie back onto the HD to view it.

    Here is a guide that tells you how to change a movie's bitrate and some other settings, so it will fit on an 80 minute CD-R. You can skip over the first part that deals with ripping from a DVD. Or if this is too much of a hassle you can buy 90 minute CD-R's, but I hear they're not 100% reliable.

    in the 'advanced' settings in Nero you can set it to overburn the disc.
    note that it depends on your burner and the quality of the disc wether it'll work or not.

    also note that overburing can burn out the burner! at least so they say in Neros manual. never happend to me though.
