Winamp Or Realone Player?

Winamp = Legend
RealPlayer = <Crap (less than crap)

That&#39;s not just a shot at RealPlayer... RP versions 6 and 7 were notorious for placing not one (RealPlayer) but TWO (RealJukebox as well) icons in the System tray, making it so you couldn&#39;t disable their startup with Windows, and generally slowed the system down. RealOne is a little better on the resources not to mention friendlier but the only real advantage to using Real is to play Real Media. For me, that&#39;s pointless-I rarely come across RealMedia and it&#39;s often not worth installing another media player for. The only proprietary format player I use is Quicktime, because you can save them (most of them-I collect trailers) and the sound quality is spectacular.

I think Winamp 2 is the best, havn&#39;t tried Winamp 5 yet.

Winamp 5 is way better, supports plug-ins, the new skin is like wooo this is a badass player, many more features i mean think about it

Well in my opinion -- best audio player - foobar, nicer looking - winamp. If u choose to go with Winamp -- best ver 2.91. Or if u dont mind resources -- get Winamp 3

after a good 7 months of using RealOne player, i have come to the conclusion that its sux. BAD.

Trying WinAMP 5 ...... i cant believe i havent had it ,

i didnt even know it existed.

I personally use Winamp 5. Great audio player. But, what was the problem with Winamp 3? Sure, it used more resources than Winamp 2, but once Winamp 3 first came out, that&#39;s all I used. I liked it alot better than Winamp 2. But, of course, Winamp 5 has all the great improvements of Winamp 3 WITH the stability of Winamp 2. It&#39;s cool.

n e 1 notice songs fade out but the nxt song
doesn&#39;t fade in, it just starts blasting full volume

i didn&#39;t care about that, sure you can fix it
but winamp 3 teh suxx0r on resources, winamp 2 was the best, now 5 is pretty good so far
