you read the topic! im running dx9.0b is there a later version?

    games/demos crashed on:

ut2003 on d3d (just fine on openGL)
generals (can it be switched to GL?)
    vulcan demo

ut2003 crash: crashes whenever ion cannon is fired onto the sniper tower in Phobos2

generals crash: whenever chinese uses nuclear bomb

vulcan demo, crashes 5:02 (min:sec) through the demo

im running an asylum 5700ultra 128

anyone else suffering from tis issue? on a different brand card?

my 5600u didnt have this issue at all...

(for those wondering, i exchanged the 5600u for the 5700u...)

is there a solution? (drivers, upgrade dx, switch to GL) can i switch all my games to openGL?
    im soooo mad!

Are you sure you removed all drivers before installing your new card?

    i was being serious there....

hardware changes often cause software conflicts, which you could be having here (even if you did unistall the older ones)

simply try moving your soundcard/ modem to a different pci slot and you will see what i mean....

i dont think i can move any of them, unless u want me to change their irqs and watch my comp suck balls

lets pretend that formatting my hdd is not an option (actually, its DEFINETLY NOT an option&#33

u kno what? ill try it out on my win2k os, as it hasnt been updated with any drivers for any other cards, and it stll thinks my integrated video is in place...

if i have the same issues, ill come back and tell you all its probly a dx9 bug

If you realy want to be sure that all your old drivers are removed you can use driver cleaner. Use it at your own risk tho.
I always use it when ati releases new drivers.
