Actually, I kinda know more than I let on.

I covet all big cats but I've also had dogs all my life.

I okayed Missus J picking out a Golden Doodle a little over a year ago (I'm into retrievers, so).

    He's 120 lbs, now.

I'm up in the air on finding a place to host my pics, but I have a bunch.

Bogie (not Bogey) is the idiot's name, though he'll remind you of a bad golf shot.

Missus and I always had 4-5 cats and dogs, but a few years back we lost 4 animals in quick succession - old age-related stuff, and a rescue cat we fought to keep alive for his entire 7-year tenure with us; anyway, by the time it was over, we were wrecked.

Had one cat left, and then we got involved with moving my folks up here from Georgia and the wheels kinda came off everything.

Now, three years later, we still have the cat, inherited another from my folks - both of whom passed last year - and Bogie the pony-dog.

I've done large dogs (a Great Dane and a Mastiff) but lost each of them to hip diisplasia, which limited choices to retrievers and labs.

Last one we lost was a Golden, under really rotten circumstance, and Bogie was our first pup since then.

He's literally too much; Missus is tiny, and my shoulders and knees are trash, so I have to work to lead the pack, so to speak.

But yeah, animals all my life - my folks started the first animal shelter in Michigan back in the day, and I grew up doing euthanasia-duty on weekends with a family friend who was a state veterinary inspector volunteering his services.

I learned how not to cry over animals pretty young, then relearned how to cry as an adult.

Now, I'm inclined to get weepy-eyed watching YouTube videos.

I gotta put Itunes on this laptop so I can post some pics, that'll have to wait a bit.

I've got a couple of 'puters on every floor, and they aren't all synced, cuz I can't keep up with shit.

Just curious, j2k4. Are you also in favour of euthanasia/assisted suicide for humans? Btw this isn't some sort of gotcha question. I've known both man and beast where ending their life would be considered a mercy.

I am in favor of Man's presumptive control of the animal world and hope he handles himself responsibly while observing his/her best idea of mercy.

I am always in favor of self-determination in life/death issues, but the matter is rife with legal, moral, ethical and practical problems.

That's a fancy way of saying I would reserve the option for myself, but prefer not to speak for others.

If anyone has more to say on the subject, please join in.

The answer you just gave would be the same as a person here trying to get 10 posts so he/she could get 2 free NZB's a day..or short, useless......

Better that question goes ignored from an obtuse, ignorant, instigator, that originally posted it

    Idol:

Lets get something straight here buddy...I am not mad nor do i hate you in any way, i really and truly think that you are an obtuse, ignorant instigator and really have no idea what is real or not....or understand the meaning of the word 'FACT" vs narrative or rumours or propaganda?? The same you have an issue with border line anti-semitism or Jewish hatred or jealousy, why i don't know?? But it is there for sure.....

Again i don't care what you say because you are full of shit and have zero credibility when it comes to politics.

So i have decided that better we talk about things that you are good at , Bicycles, the weather, small minded things where i don't need to look at stupidity....

Because no matter if you agree with conservatism or not, you have no idea what it stands for....

If you are a left wing Liberal?? What does it mean to you?? Then ask what you are seeing in the US is that what you would want??

If yes?? Great!!!, because if that is what you think a country should look like, i can say that is not freedom!!!!, That is for sure!!!!!!!

If you think the majority of the News media is really telling you the truth, and reporting all the news, and not cherry picking , spinning, leaving out FACTS to spin narratives, blatantly lying!!!! ,

Well great and that is your choice....

    Lets talk bicycles
