Given that even in Houston with its vast Medical Center the ICUs are nearing capacity and the hospitals are getting overwhelmed, the answer is yes.
And I am still waiting for Paxton and Governor Hotwheels to sacrifice themselves for the economy, as they promised. Last time I checked, they were still around filing frivolous lawsuits.

No,you don't. What you require is proof of identity. The government allows several ways to determine that, the bulk of which don't require a photo. Actually the only thing Canada is really hard-ass about is passports. In some parts of the far North you can even drive without a license.
On the other hand what the US has proposed is a photo ID specific to voting. That in itself isn't discriminatory. It only became viewed as discriminatory and attempting to disenfranchise certain parts of society when they tried to attach certain requirements to getting one. For example, purposing that an individual home address was required meant that Native Americans living on reservations where they don't usually have that would be barred from voting. I mean just like look voter ID up on any website that isn't blatantly right wing.

At the 2015 general election, electors had several options some of which have changed as a result of Bill C-76 to prove their identity and address.
93% of electors showed a driver's licence or another single piece of ID showing their name, address and photo
3% of electors showed a document proving their identity and another proving their address
Less than 1% showed two documents with their name and had a neighbour with ID attest to their address footnote 4
172,000 electors could not exercise their right to vote because they did not have accepted proof of identity and/or address
Of these electors, about 50,000 went to their polling place but were turned away for lack of ID footnote 5
Look at the size of our population and look how many votes were invalid or thrown out??
Again even if i say you are right, and you are, you don't think we put more restrictions to make sure there isn't any fraud??
And the truth Idol when i went to my place to vote, i had a voter card, and still had to show id right, what did you show?? One of my kids doesn't have a Driver Licence, so he showed his Passport, now he has a ID card that is the same as a Drivers licence and you get it from the OMV , and it looks the same as a licence, but obviously you can't use it to drive
Funny and the same Our health card is supposed to be one of the most secured card and has our photo on it, and most places do not accept is as personal ID?? Do you know why??

Here is always the question Meg, where the fuck do they even get that information from?? We know for a fact in 2016 most and i mean most Republican voters don't speak... I have always said there is loud mouths on both sides Left and Right, but the majority of voters don't speak??
I think 2016 proved that and the Democrats saw and learned from that and now 2020 look what happened......
The big question will always be without the Wuhan China Virus, would the outcome have been the same?? If the economy was still up not a chance but hey my opinion and now will see right.....
