Norton Antivrus 2004

I downloaded Norton AV 2004, and it had a keygen included, thats fine but how do i activate it?

I believe you have to enter the key code before that program will even install. That is unless you have some kind of fixed copy where you don't have to enter a key code at all.

yeh u do and i did, u gota puta a serial in b4 u can install but with Norton 2004 it says you have to activate, ie over the internet in 15 days or it will stop working.

Bugger. I downloaded mine of Suprnova- possibly the same copy. I burnt it with Alcohol 120% but the keygen (TMG) that came with it won't work.


I get to the activation page, enter a keygen and...

It keeps coming up with: Key is not a valid A8 KEY.

I have searched other places for a new keygen but none have worked.

Any hints what I'm doing wrong? muchos gracias

although it is not always possible, i like to download files that have a key code included, not a key gen, an key code. if you're forced to use a key gen., if doesn't work right away i have found it probably won't make a working one. where can you find one? the site above is always a good place to start.

you need to disconnect to the internet 1st, then wait for activation by phone probably and activate it then.

Btw this way might not work anymore because you did it in the other way before and Norton puts that info somewhere in the registry.

btw check your dl file for a *.nfo file (i)nfo must be in there somewhere

oh and last it's not allowed to post serials and keygens on the board!

yep we must have the same one coz the same thing happens when i try to activate it not a valid A8 key. But with the keygen, the TMG one it says phone challenge code, what u put there?

I know how to do it. The TMG one works and so does the on from astalvista, i reccomend the later coz u dont have to type as much. What u do is this
1. Install the product using the serial number
2. Once installed it will say activate, so activate
3.When it says not a valid A8 Key cancel the activation before it stops
4. Then click on activate by phone and it will take u to this place
5. It will have a code at the top and says prepare to read out this code & it will have a section where u put in a code
6. If using the TMG one insert the code into the part where it says Phone challenge code in TMG and it will generate a code.
7. If using astalvista simply copy the activation code into the space provided.
There, we now have a registered copy of NAV 2004.
