Thread: Boosting Audio

  1. #1
Is there a way to boost the audio output with software? I have an onboard audiocard (on my Epox 8kta3+ Mainboard), but too often I find myself lacking the right volume when I am playing movies on my comp and headset. It's just to soft too often.

Converting the movies is time-consuming and difficult...

    Anybody has an idea?

Open your volume controls and raise your wave output.

Once you've got (and installed) the klite codec pack you need to look at the AC3 filter config. Increase the master gain, every 3db increase is twice as loud, so 6db is 4 times as loud, 9db is 8 times etc.
