Well if the most we know the 28 update has on the 23 version, which I have, is that it blocks some warez serials, well then I say stick with 23! It works just fine for CD burning right now; a minor update is nothing to worry about.

question about nero. I have nero 6 ultra edition, but when I install their updates, it changes it to the demo version in add/remove programs. why?

and, does anyone else have probs with startsmart? it likes to be a little bitch. Sometimes I'll open it and it will not open, but the process is there at 99% CPU. I hate that...I always have to log off and back on or reboot to rectify the prob...I couldn't find anything on this problem using google.

The latest update from Nero blocks most of the pirated s/n, keygens

They have craftily been monitoring serial number useage through smartstart when connected to the internet.

The answer to your other question is no, every part of nero should work fine, including smartstart.

i stick with 6.0.0.23. i dont think i wanna try pushing my luck further. last version i had, the keygen would register it untill you rebooted, then you had to do it again, this one works good B)
