Oops problem solved, i accidently turned off the power on my older pc (with 80 gigs) when using partition magic (dos mode) to free up space. I freed up more space than i intended - damaging data on the drive, so had to reformat it.

On the down side i have to download the movies i damaged, but hey i&#39;ve gained 72 gigs
