VB I think mabye you should use a power bar to control your moniter . Power button hooped?

VB im glad ur problem is worked out.... however i think what might be the problem is the cable that runs from ur monitor to ur pc.... man im so out of terms right now, so i'll just say its THAT cable haha.....

i had a problem of that type, and i moved the cable while the computer was on and it went on and off.....prolly a contact bad...

i had to take the monitor to the repair shop to fix it

but oh well just a wild guess you can try
