Thread: !ever Lost Your Car Radio Code?

    i`ve just bought the bit of kit to retreive or change car radio security codes, if you have ever lost yours please report here how you went about getting it back if at all and how much it cost, how far you had to go and how long it took etc..thanks this will help me alot.

    Your only(I mean only) option is to contact the mfg. I know, I work for a company that does factory repairs on electronics.

    sound like ur gonna do a dodgy code recovery service to me on radios that have fallen off lorrys so to speak?????

    there is a very old tick that works on stereo's. try putting them in a bag in your freezer overnight.

    the cold breaks the code protection circuitry. this is known to work on older stereos but new ones are less prone to this. apart from every stereo fitted as standard to a fords.
