Can you get updates from microsoft if you got Xp off of kazza? Is it risky?

But if u want to update to SP1 then u must Change ur Key, other ways u wont be able to do it but for normal updates it simple and risk free

So what your tying to say is that even if my Xp is registered, i can t update to sp1, but i can get normal updates, huh? Can someone explain.

all you need is a valid serial number to install xp sp1a or if you can still get just sp1 (first release) get that, as it has the ms java machine and doesnt check your serial

If you get Lamsey's version it includes SP1

you can find this in the pinned part of the verifieds

Well some of us manage quite happily with our FT network
