I assure you you can download the installer from here. Just go to the downloads tab off to the side and click on k lite k++ and it will have download mirrors in there or you can just download if from a mirror at the site below.

i found the actual problem....my popup blocker (i think it would be this) wasnt allowing me to execute certain things on the site.....hence not allowing me to see correctly the page
