    How can i cut a 4.8GB movie into parts by size, i want them 700MB each, TMPGEnc doesn't do it by size

    yep kvcd can help, or virtual dub to re encode it

    yea my best assumption is that the file is either a DVD or a "regular" avi or mpg (not encoded with divx, xvid, etc.)

    muchspl2 is the biggest advocate of kvcd format and fought the case for this new format well , but some might think he has a fetish for kvcd
