    I had (have, actually) one of the those two fan HDD coolers.
    They work, but they are NOISY!

    How do you "tape" the senser on to your video card? Wont the tape melt. Also...with the heatpipe coolers for the HDD without any fans, just the copper heatpipes...do you just mount those around the harddrive and it cools it alot?

    evidently not...

    vid cards shouldn't get hot enough to melt plastic tape, if they do, there's a rather large problem

    got it from tigerdirect.com for free after rebate. it&#39;s the Ultra (brand) something 2x 60mm fan hd cooler. works great. and they&#39;re sleave bearing too. not bad for free. lowed my hd by bout 10-13 C

    ok. thanks a lot. any suggestions as to where the probe thing should go? just slide it into the hs?

    oh. that sucks. maybe pricegrabber or some other uk stores has it for cheap?



    @clocker: y do u need a heat pipe for a 9000? it&#39;s not that intensive of a card

    not really. i&#39;m about 2-3 feet away from my pc, and i hear a very low humming. wait, do u have sleave or ball bearing fans? i think mines ball, sory bout the sleave mistake. i&#39;m pretty sure it&#39;s ball, or else it would be cheaper b4 rebate

    @clocker: i fit the sensor probe snuggly in between the fins of the hs. my temp rite now is 30 C with no games running at all tonite. wats a good temp?
