Thread: Increase Video Quality

1. #1
don't know if anyone else does this, but when i get a video file that's not too great in quality, i reduce my screen resolution (from 1152x864 to 800x600) which serves to 'increase' my video quality.
of course, the video quality itself isn't affected, however, the picture is much less stretched, which makes the picture seem better

edit: this is of course assuming you view the videos in full screen mode

On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
With your mind power, your determination, your instinct and the experience as well, you can fly very high.

you can also improve the image quality by sitting further back from your monitor, or putting your beer goggles on.

even if you download a good dvd rip at 720x* then it'll still have to be stretched if you're normal resolution is 800x600 or higher
