Well, when I said the box, I meant the entire pc, cuz if you want to put some time and effort into it you could create a PC that was even better than that one, I’ve seen ppl who had P4's Oced to over 4ghz on overclocking sites, and had them staying stable.Originally posted by bigdawgfoxx@5 December 2003 - 21:55
Lol it isnt just about the monitor and the box...Look on the inside...insane cooling and everythings overclocked....that thing is awesome..too damn much though lol..they do load on the stuff though.
You can pick up a refrigeration unit for under 1000, and then the rest of the PC (I'd have to price everything) but I'd say as an estimate you could put together for another 5gs or so., It would take a little time and effort on the part of the person building it, but it would be way less than the price they are charging.
More satisfying that way too,
(guess I should mention I meant for like a mid-grade of their systems, cuz if you started adding ram drives and flash drives, it would start to get expensive, but just for their bottom system they want 4gs without the monitor. Example, they are basically charging around $1600 for just a P4 3.2 extreme edition, which you can buy for around $1000 retail.)
Anyway,
I just think it would be cool to have a monitor like that, I know you can do the exact same thing just by buying more than one monitor; and buying either a video card that supports more than one vga output; or just putting a PCI and AGP video card in your system, but It's just not the same. Those monitors are kickin'. If only I had a few thousands dollars to throw away, I'd pick one up.

mach is using the 3.4 p4ee chipsOriginally posted by _John_Lennon_@5 December 2003 - 21:04
Yeah they are, along with the 3.5's which just seems wrong to me for some reason. You really shouldnt be able to advertise 3.8Ghz, without having to say it is navitely a 3.0Ghz Chip.
I dont think there are 3.4Ghz chips...stock

I'm fairly certian 3.2 is the last stock P4 right now.
"Where did he go, George, Where did he go?"
wheres clocker shouldn't he be drooling over that cooling system
