I sometimes type too fast, which allows for all types of mistakes to sidle themselves into my posts, so I guess I'll usually correct a third or so of every post.
It would probably be more if I bothered to fix every tiny thing, I sometimes leave mistakes in if the writing is otherwise legible.
Apart from that I often do not get enough sleep, and that has, needless to say, a negative effect on my typing.
EDit: grammar
I edit all the time.
Sometimes to repair the mechanics ( spelling, grammar), sometimes to improve clarity, occasionally just because I can.

if i'm not mistaken the mods can turn off that option, so they can edit their post without it showing up
Clocker you dont make mistakes. You may cause them, but that is not your fault. Did you ever have a feeling that there should be a Uriah Heep type smiley.Originally posted by clocker@6 December 2003 - 00:51

Normally not at all.
Sometimes once.
Occasionally 2 or 3 times.
Rarely more than that.

It's all downhill in the sixth decade, though.
