Klite Still Crashing

I am pulling my hair out on this!
I have read a few posts on here about Klite crashing, 'coz it does on my machine as well, and I have done just about all I can/read about what to do about it.

First off , when Klite 2.4.3 started crashing I moved my shred files into a temp folder. That cured it for about a week! Then I un installed Klite, ran Adware 6.0, then spybot, then regcleaner to remove (if) any and all instances of Klite.
I then re installed Klite 2.4.3 last night and it is still crashing. it seems as thought it crashes right after it gets connected, because while it says connecting at the bottom right of Klite screen, it does not crash.

My systems is win2k with sp2, and most other updates. I am connected through a ADSL router to the internet

Help please, what next?

please delete the db folder

The database files can be found in one of the following locations, depending on your version of Kazaa Lite:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Kazaa Lite\db
C:\Documents and Settings\%your username%\Application Data\Kazaa Lite\db
C:\windows\Application Data\Kazaa Lite\db
C:\program files\kazaa lite\db\
