No, with ADSL your upload speed doesn't affect your download speed.

Are you sure?

I've set my uploading bandwith at 256 in klite with 25 users, & my uploading bandwith is not fully working.

Even with 56k upload does not effect download

As 256 is your theoretical maximum, you need to set your upload badwidth one notch lower.

In my opinion 25 users is far too many, 4 would be more useful.

well.... NO actually you wont be gettin 64kb.... you'll probably be hitting max of 55kb.

But your upload doesnt affect your download, although i still limit my upload to 1kb a sec when im browsing cause it seems to slow it down soomehow

uploading too quickly can 'choke' download bandwidth though
i've found that anything over 90% of my rated upload (i.e. 90% of 32kB/sec) leads to a max download of only 45kB/sec (when i usually get 58-59kB/sec
