hi guys, somethings wrong with my BT, every time i clicked on a BT link, any BT link for a download, this error message pops up.
I thought it may be BT error and I unstalled the BT client, downloaded the latest official BT client, 3.3, and the problem persist, I even tried other BT client such as Shadow BT, and so on, similar error message still occur and no matter how many times i uninstall BT and install again, nothing works, can anyone help me? thanks, BT is very important these days
NEW PROBLEM UPDATE: DEC08/2003
Hi guys, since i have an nother BT problem so i'll just post it here under the topic again to save net resources:
this new problem is that my BT is not creating a dummy file anymore, it just download the file like a ordinary download where the file gets bigger as you download it, and speed is very slow in most cases. is there anything i can do about this?

Depending on the client you are using, you can tell it to allocate all the space for the file. Many of the newer clients do not pre-allocate space at the beginning of the download so you can save space.
This way you can dl a few files at a time if you have a small drive. Just be sure to burn and remove files as the space is taken up.
This does not affect the dl at all. The speeds are caused by many things that should have been covered in the FAQ muchspl2 gave you.
