I saw a black stand up comedian a few weeks ago that said that black men buy expensive stuff whether they have the money or not. He said, "You won't see a poor white guy with an $800 jersey," or something like that. It seems to me that if the oppressed don't like there situation, they could get out of it, with or without reparations. Where I live they don't have many black people, and I have never been to any slums, so I am a little ignorant of how it is really like, but commen sense is telling me that over half don't want to get out of it and that is what is keeping the others down, not the white man.

When did I say it twice? All I did was show that I&#39;m not racist and this is how I see things. I admitted I could be wrong, but I have no reason to believe otherwise.

I may not live there, but I do know what I see on the news. And generally comedians are the ones that &#39;tell it as it is&#39;, especially if it&#39;s a black man saying it. If Chris Rock tells me that they need to wise up then why shouldn&#39;t I believe him?

If I am wrong, then explain to me how it really is, don&#39;t just tell me I&#39;m wrong.

Are you saying that they have absolutly no control over their situation? Do you believe that it isn&#39;t there fault, that they are being held down by another race?

Explain how it really is.

(If I hadn&#39;t chimed in, I would continue being ignorant. I did nothing wrong.)
