    Ok...I have windows xp pro, and when you go to task manager, then processes, you can select the priority. Does that mean like if its on low that it wont use much ram for it or CPU power? thanx.

    if you set a process (for example a game) to high priority, itll use the most resources, practically disabling the other processes

    You wanna be kinda carefull changing anything there. You may not get control of your PC back from a program if you set it too high, or you could wait hours for it to break free

    yea i dont mess wit it.... i once set a game to high priority it took me about 25 mins to get back to windows when i exit the game
