    i never really knew what LDs were. they were before my time ie 90s. i wasnt in to computers then when i was less than 13

    yea this was a cool thread, so many young members probably never even see a ld or knew about it


    the most expensive ld I ever bought was a Citroen collectors ed of trainspotting
    around 35.00 it has out takes but it should be on dvd by now for cheaper

    I think the best quailty ld I have is toy story, man its the clearest think IIRC it was the first all digatal transfer

    I remember LaserDiscs. They were pretty pretty big. But the clarity and shit was comprable to DVD back then. Was just too big for standard everyday use.

    BTW how much data can them things hold ??

    Are they just like normal cd's just huge or an actual different format ??

    the size of a album and most of them fit on two disc (front & back) & some have three disc like jurassic park and some others
