iPads are more expensive but they are fast and responsive when they are brand new. Android tablets are cheaper but most allow you to add an SD card for more storage and allow you to customize it at a lower level than an iPad. You have a lot more control over the file system with an Android tablet than an iPad. Both are great but it depends on how you want to use it.
