Thread: AI Art and drawing

With all the new AI art and more websites coming, it's really hard to get inspired to draw for me. I understand that AI will never get the image from your mind perfectly, but damn sure get something similar or even better in minutes. I used AI alot with my work since it's copyright free, but I no longer feel like drawing anymore. I just write prompts instead

This doesn't have to be an all or nothing situation. You could use AI art as inspiration and/or reference for your own work. Think of something, generate it, then see what can be done better, differently or simply more to your liking.

I am totally with you on that. I use it as a tool like you mentioned for concepting imagery. When I see the results after prompting, it's something way better than what I imagine it to be. That's why I'm so conflicting with it. It's like the invention of the calculator, it speed things up. But man, some of the results are so beautiful! I usually have to go in and fix the hands and sometime the feet. It's just hard to be inspired when something that good comes out in a couple minutes. And if I were to do it, it would take weeks or months.

At the end of the day, I'm just complaining. I definitely use it as a tool. Thanks!

Can't take credit for this one about 15 seconds to prompt, create and email from a friend...

    Call it.... "The Dalec Pirate"

More? ...with a word or name personalize art quite easily. Gimme a second or two...

No doubt this will be a double post, but oh well...

I tried to resize this one a bit perhaps it has a mind of its own (sighs & chuckles}... gotta love espresso... I like mine chocolatey, but I believe it made it a latte...

Umm... seeing that I'm hungry for a little breakfast...

No pun intended, but you get the picture(s)... just a little imagination is all it takes... have fun!

It's nice that Elon Musk has finally dropped the pretense and is going by his real evil computer name.

I welcome the machines I don't mind becoming one of those Terminators hybrids like Marcus Wright. Then Skynet evolves into the borg queen and travel around the universe to assimilate everything. "Resistance is futile!"
