Besides paying way too much money to companies like Raytheon, what precisely do you think needs fixing about the World's premier military? Maybe they need to stop using euphemisms for Delta and call it America Force since Team America is already copyrighted?

You do know American NFL stadiums in cold/winter states have heated seats

And crowd size for Trump is never a issue... Now in the Swamp, you may have a point.....

Do you know the ages of some of the politicians in the house and senate that will be there ??

Also i think they are putting screens up outside......

To my limited knowledge only one woman has ever passed BUD/S and no woman has ever been a SEAL. Like with firemen, the physical requirements really aren't that ridiculously high (think 20 pushups), it's more about the possible social problems. One? woman is/was serving in SWCC which is the boat unit of SpecOps and equally badass.

You've made your contempt for America and Americans quite clear - in any case, those Americans have, in their ignorance, selected Trump and his plutocracy to lead their country.

I find myself content with the choice, though I find myself wishing he'd forget about Canada and leave it to fend for itself.

    Question:

How do you figure you know more about the situation in California than I do?

The cause of the fires is immaterial; the weather had been forecast long enough for someone (Newsom?) to ensure servicable (rather than dry) hydrants to fight the fire, and FDs with budgets adequate to use them.

That you can dismiss or ignore that situation certainly does you no credit.

    75 years?

That gets us back well beyond Global Cooling, the phenomenon of which you apparently have no recollection.

It was going to kill us all, well before Al Gore invented "Global Warming" and Man's culpability for it.

I find myself wondering if you could explain quickly how, given the Global Warming movement's claim to literally ALL climate data in their cause, why the massive hump in that data coinciding with The Industrial Revolution DOES NOT EXIST?

Funny - in my earlier years, my friends used to refer to me as "Attila".

Contempt for some doesn't mean contempt for all. Lot of good, decent people in the States, even among those who delusionally voted for Trump. You on the other hand seem determined to be a weenie. Pardon my Quebecois.

Setting aside your contempt for Trump voters - and also your ignorance pf my own conclusions about him or how I reached them - I'd really appreciate any effort you could muster in aid of making a case for the alternative, which would be Harris/Biden/another Democrat.

I would assume, given the strength of opinions you've expressed so far, it must be top-of-mind.

If merely opposing your reasonings qualifies for weenie-hood to your mind, so be it.Wasn't aware you were a Quebecker, Idol - thought you were from the Canadian hinterlands, but no matter how you all characterize things, it's still just French to me.

The globe is indeed warming; the issue of why bears along the lines of nature, not man.

Last time I checked, police, fire department and similar were municipal services, and not state. Agree that there need to be some questions asked about what happened, how and why, but it would be better to direct your attention at who is actually responsible rather than who is just politically expedient.

Of course the mayor of Los Angeles is unlikely to run for President in four years, so I can see why OAN, Fox et al. prefer to focus on Newsom.

The courage/ignorance/stupidity on municipal and county levels is born of statewide politics.

In any case, we have nothing whatsoever to fear from a Newsom candidacy.

The most viable politician on the Democrat side currently is John Fetterman, and he's at the head of an utterly empty bench.

Here's just a taste of the trickle-down incompetence of Democrat leadership in California:

Sorry for the Fox link, but the media you're consuming isn't covering the story.
