Crypto is good for making international payments and transfers without going through the ridiculous taxes, rates and fees in place for conventional means, but when it comes to "freezing" your money, the US dollar remains the best and safest choice despite... current geopolitical events and other local idiosyncrasies. I don't want to throw away the small amount I can save at the end of each month just because enough people suddenly realized the value of the latest meme coin was purely volitional. Although the more established ones (BTC, Lite, Monero) seem to be a better gamble I haven't completely dismissed.
Milei's shock therapy measures have reduced inflation at the cost of considerable unemployment and poverty, which in turn have triggered a large recession. Of course price increases are going to slow down if no one can afford to buy anything other than the essentials anymore. Mind you, this is also partly the fault of previous governments for not taking less drastic measures early on.Or have things stabilized enough that it's less of an issue.
