In Canada and the US we have laws and regulations when we pay our taxes be it property, personal, business......
Now once we finish, we either owe or we are getting a refund... You follow me so far educated ones
Now if you owe you must pay, but you can give much much more if you want...
Now your refund you can take it or you can give it to the government and much much more!!!!!
You have 10 million in the bank and you can give half to the government any time you want.....
How much more do you give to the government over what you are required too??
And if you give more than required?? Are you entitled to say where that money should go??
Example...
Bill Gates, Annon's best friend, gives billions to Left wing radical woke charities/startups/research/NGO's , his choice...
But no extra to the Government!!!
