    Or something like that.

Sorry, I've heard Mary Trump is biased.

    Disallowed.
See, that's the thing with finding independent, credible sources that come to the same conclusions. You may not like it, but it's going on.

Nice of the Administration to think of my grandchildren working as slave labor

I'd never have guessed the dumbest Lib on the planet could misread something so badly.

    *sigh*

Just how many robot technicians do you actually believe will be needed, kev?

The dollar is very much intentionally being collapsed (it's already down by 10% since Trump began fucking around with tariffs and pissing off now-former-allies) because a strong dollar benefit *consumers*. Businesses, specifically manufacturers, actually don't benefit from a strong dollar because fewer countries can afford their goods.

These manufacturing jobs of the future will be created to compete on an equal footing with countries like China and India. Very low wages. And our buying power will be terrible as consumers.

    Generations of slave labor.

Which is different than your "grandchildren working as slave labor" - isn't it?

Everything possible is being done to deregulate industries, environment, as quickly as they can. To compete equally with China, the same costs must be met. That means wages, work demands, and living conditions will be the same.

    Before you ask "What deregulation?"

    https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/15/u...gulations.html
"At the Department of Health and Human Services, Trump administration officials want to reverse a regulation that has required nursing homes to have more medical staff on duty.

At the Mine Safety and Health Administration, powerful lobbying groups have asked the administration to eliminate a rule to protect miners from inhaling the dust of crystalline silica, a mineral that is used in concrete, smartphones and cat litter but that can be lethal in the lungs.

And at the Federal Communications Commission, which regulates radio and television broadcasting and satellite communications, President Trump’s appointees published a seemingly exuberant notice asking for suggestions on which rules to get rid of, titled “DELETE, DELETE, DELETE.”

Across the more than 400 federal agencies that regulate almost every aspect of American life, from flying in airplanes to processing poultry, Mr. Trump’s appointees are working with the Department of Government Efficiency, the cost-cutting initiative headed by Elon Musk and also called DOGE, to launch a sweeping new phase in their quest to dismantle much of the federal government: deregulation on a mass scale."
