Ok sorry my bad. The ati Radeon 9600 pro 128mb has even better benchmarks than the nvidia geforce fx5600 128mb. I would of got the ati radeon 9600 pro but it is like double the price of the one I got.

I dont think its the cards fault, its probably your Motherboard.Originally posted by healimonster@7 December 2003 - 21:19
I bought that exact card for just about the exact same price.
I was up grading from a gefore 2 64mb that came with my computer.
I was excepting a serious performance enhancment for gaming.
I was barley able to notice anything.
I returned the card and bought a
FX 5600 for about 130.
My old CPU was a 750Mhz Duron and my video card was a Geforce2 mx200 64mb and it ran most of my games nicely.
I got a Geforce4 MX440 64mb and it ran SOOOOOOOO much faster than my old card.
I decided to give my old video card to my nephew wich has a 750mhz celeron and supermicro board and it hardly run anything.
So dont blame the cards. Its most likely the CPU or the motherboard.
Also it depends on what brand it is too. I wont by any Nvidia card unless its a leadtek.
BWT guys, have a look at this card. Its a damn beast and costs over $3000!!!!

Damn i had the clock speeds of it but i lost the url and my net is running crap and cant find it
But this card is a beast and has 256MB ddr2 ram
I wouldnt recomend the 5200 at all, considering the performance increase you get from the old 4200 it isnt worth it.
