Some interesting math here.

Flooding is set at 30 seconds I believe. Now let's assume a fast poster can prepare his post within that time and be ready after 30 secs.
So if you wanted to reach 4000 as quickly as possible it would take:
30secs x 4000 = 120000 secs / 60 = 2000 mins = 33 1/3 hours
