i am now a supernode
how do we do that though?Originally posted by Paul@8 December 2003 - 13:55
KL 2.10 has an option to set the version number in the registry. Just set that to 260. I don't think that option is in newer versions, you'll have to ask random nut.
Which version of 2.10? There are 3..Originally posted by Paul@8 December 2003 - 06:55

SMARTY SMARTY HAD A PARTY NOBODY CAME BUT SMARTY
bawa, thanks for reposting news i posted a whole 3 hours before you...
The news
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\K++
"K++ Version"=dword:02400000
in version 2.40, this is the registry value you are looking for.
change it to:
"K++ Version"=dword:02600000
i assume everyone here is smart enuf to change registry entries
if not, PM me and i will send u the reg file
I dont find that in 2.4.3
dont tell me that my fanatic need to have the latest software has kicked me in the ass....
Sage goes in the signature field.
i can host the older version if i can find its install file...
So if everyone using K-Lite enables the supernode functionality will we be able to carry on... think I'll experiment by asking people who download from me to turn it on.
That has nothing to do with the Kazaa GUI version number. Changing it changes nothing.Originally posted by atiVidia@9 December 2003 - 13:35
