I’m looking for a good simple to use program to convert an .avi movie to a Vcd
so I can watch it on my DVD player. I tried tmpgenc thing on the kazaa lite site and cant get it to work. It makes wide screen movies full screen and I don’t know how to change it so I just want a new program.

    help

in tmpgenc just go to advanced options and select "Full Screen (keep aspec ratio) 1

its some where in the options

i think options > advanced [tab] > Full Screen keep (aspec ratio) 1

With Tmpgenc SETTING > ADVANCED >VIDEO ARRANGE METHOD >CENTER (KEEP ASPECT RATIO) or you could CENTER (CUSTOM SIZE) and adjust frame sizes to 352 x 198 for PAL or 320 x 180 for NTSC.

The figures 198 and 180 are 16/9 (widescreen) derivative of 352 and 320 respectively.
