    Member Groups.We have asked before.

    I do not want to be in the Members Group.I am a Music Member.

    There isn't an automatic method to assign members to different user groups, and I don't think the admin have the time and/or effort to want to do it manually.

    In layman's terms, tough shat

    To comfort you out though, being in a unique User Group isn't as good as it seems beforehand. Pretty much a case of 'it looks greener on the other side'

    Yeah, sure, I think Paul and 7thElement have a few weeks to dedicate to sorting members into groups according to preferences. Without time to sleep, eat or go to the loo.

    because everyone would rather to quickly check someones postcount than what they previously wrote. if i wanted to do that i'd go through their profile

    The point is that postcount is misleading. This way people get a more accurate idea of waht a member's like. The postcount is still in the profiles, along with the 'forum most active in' statistic, which is a lot more useful than a simple postcount.
