I just checked in my bittorrent download window...I clicked on "prefs" and there it told me that my port range was from 6881 to 6999 so now I changed those numbers in virtual server ...was that the right thing to do??
Or should I change the numbers in bittorrent to the original ones I posted before??

or even better on routers and bt
http://userpages.umbc.edu/~hamilton/btclientconfig.html
if your running xp, you should turn off xp's firewall

start -> run -> type "services.msc" (WITHOUT THE "") ->return -> turn off icf internet connection firewall
leave your AV on, but if you have a software firewall like za, just allow bt to access the internet
