Yup its that linux thing, lol. You'd be surprised how easy it was to implement.
Good thing Vista couldnt recognize my 2 Hd's connected to an ATA ultra 133.
Else, I mightve went ahead with the installation and missed out on trying out ubuntu.
Consequently, I doubt I'll ever return back to Windows, The air is less rancid here in linux land.

Yeah its not for everyone. Especially if you're into heavy gaming or if you have a wireless setup in your home.

Nice Ubuntu desktop, DefianceX.
I'm using Linux Mint (Ubuntu-based), which is a lightweight and "out-of-the-box" version of the latest stable Ubuntu Feisty... I have Beryl 3D desktop + AWN (the dock in the bottom), and they both run flawlessly in my old Pentium M 512MB RAM Intel GM laptop...
running kubuntu at the moment as Gnomes for girlsnice use of beryl if that's what's on top
