It just has the standard serial number needed thing, search Kazaa, and you'll be fine.

to be honest, 2008 id stick with Office 2000, if you've already got it.
office XP has no apparent new features, except the office assistant won't leave you alone, and there's this bar on the Right which asks whether or not you're sure about everything (and i mean everything) for example...
you're in word, and want a new document...normally click File>New
not in XP, click File>New, then go to the right hand side and select "blank Document"
i know it doesn't sound a lot, but i'm looking to go the other way, back to 2000, just wish i wasn't so damned lazy.

I only ever used office 2000 on a corporate network, it was ok i suppose, i use office xp myself at home, doesnt need a serial number or anything. yes that bloody assistant gets on my nerves too, but I'm sure i switched it off once.

I have no issues with Office 2000 or XP, but I like XP, the office assistant can be disabled, if you choose. As they say to each is his own, it's your decision......

I got Office XP from Kazaa and had trouble with the Service Pack 1 & 2 upgrades but do a search on Google and you'll find sites telling you how to do an "Administrative Update". Whatever, it worked for me.
