Hey again.
I got myself an old 200 mHz laptop, but it had no OS on it when I bought it. And since the cd drive is connected by usb I have trouble installing things - like windows! So now I've intalled dos - but by that there is still no contact with to cd drive.
SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - can a cd drive connected by usb be found in dos?????
PLESE HELP!!!!!!!!!

You will prabally need touse startup disk and have some type of usb support.
Have you tried to use a normal cd rom support?
Does the cmos reconize the cd-rom?(as a boot option or anything?)

Normal cd support? Like a driver? No, not a normal dirver (for win). Triede a couple for "usb" drivers..... doesn't work, I think.
And ad a boot option? On my normal pc (stadionære), it says something like "hit delete for bios" - but doesn't here. If I try, the options I get is "test" - and here I can test the usb (and it says "ok") - but to boot on it??? Noknow.... help me more please

F1 worked!
But... For start up i can choose between 5 things. FDD 1 (my a drive i thinhk), hard drive, network, Fdd 2 (?) and PCMCIA (don't know what that is.). But no usb.....

but the link did not help - nothing to download.......
Fu*k I hate old pc's....
But... is it true that usb does not work with win 95?
