Hi,
A super seed, is a term used for describing your self as the main seed of that torrent, lets say you have a DVD-RIP of Bad Boys 2, and you want to share it, well after you make the torrent, posted it, and you open it up and set to super seed, everyone that jumps on your movie will get 5-6 kb/s of different parts so there can be a completed movie from all the users, this saves on your bandwidth.
So, what I am trying to say is, it gets your movie out quicker to everyone else.
So, only use it when you are the first one on the torrent.

To everyone turning super-seed on by default:
PLEASE DON'T.
When lots of people on a torrent are using super-seed,
it greatly reduces the torrent's efficiency.
The only people who should be using super-seed
are those doing initial seeding or re-seeding.
