    Once its installed will it resume downloads automatically or will i have to change the settings? also if i get disconnect from the net can XDCC Klipper still resume then. For example i leave the net on overnight but my ISP d/c me after 4 hours but it redials straight away, can Klipper resume in that situation?

    Yes, it is designed to resume downloads automatically. Just install it, and let it do its thing.
