DILLON - A Dillon Valley man was arrested for using a Sony PlayStation as a weapon during a fight with his roommate late Wednesday night.
Sheriff's officers are trying to determine the true identity of the man. He originally said he was Edwis Hernandez Delapaz, but his roommate identified him as Amando Hernandez. Once in jail, officers found a resident alien card in Delapaz's possession that indicated he is actually Hector Amador Garcia.
According to sheriff's office reports, the two men had been drinking Wednesday evening, and when they returned home, Delapaz followed his roommate, Ricardo Lopez, into the bathroom and began striking him with his fists.
Then he picked up the video game player and struck Lopez in the left side of his ribs, the reports said.
Neither man would say what the two were fighting about. Sheriff's officers arrested him on charges of second-degree assault.
