well, the total download speed will only ever be as good as the download limit (e.g. 1Mbit/sec or 2Mbit/sec)

for example, if you have 1 megabit per second cable, you shouldn't be able to download faster than 1 megabit per second

it shouldnt affect the speed and if it does then it will be by a little bit
