Your download speed : 2077950 bps, or 2077 kbps.
A 253.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 214765 bps, or 214 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!
Well you could always download other torrents at the same time, but i wouldnt recommend using shadows as it seems to have high cpu usage, try using the Abc client http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/ it based on shadows but it has alot lower cpu usage i'm downloading about 7 torrents and it's only using 30 -50%,
You have 2mbit/256k btw not 2.5mbit. And your speed 1-30k/sec is what you start for the first half hour or so sometime it speeds up if more seed or user connect with you. Give it sometime patient is virtue

don't cheat, seed afterwards
High cpu usage??? your kidding me, i am downloading 2 torrent and cpu never even exceed 5 percentage. I'm using shadow's latest 5.87 plus cpu usage is dependent on how many users you connect to, more = more cpu load.Originally posted by junkyardking@14 December 2003 - 05:43

Getting 90-100k/sec with about 13 users per torrent = 26 users in all.
settle children no flaming...
i have no CPU usage problems, i am running 19 torrent files right now.. my cpu usage is at 10 percent... all in the settings...
as for the method below, i have tried it.. and it doesn't help that much, as i still have plenty of upstream bandwith left...(that is what the method does...)
first off, i took the test while downloading.. so it should be expected to be a bit slower... as for the gathering of seeds, i am only asking this question because of that very fact, that indeed after many hours of waiting (yes hours and days for some) i still don't hit more than 30kbs, i have never in my entire bittorrent life downloaded anything at over 30 kbs... sad indeed...You have 2mbit/256k btw not 2.5mbit. hey just an idea i got... does any 1 have a file that usualy has 100+seeders??
i want to see what i can push my speed at.. i tcould be simply bad selected torrents... any files with high poeple rate is cool! perhaps even a sample file from the mysterios invite only forum dl site they started hehehehe... just a thought
hold on ill fine one and tell you my speed
