Klchat 2.6

hi there, i downloaded the new klchat version, but the tools menu isnt there!!!!
and its extremely frustrating not having those menus there...
also, it doesnt seem to have klextensions.... if theres no way of doing this, ill probably uninstall... but i aint taking away credit, you did a great job!!

The tools are installed and are on the start menu.

Until KLE or similar is added somehow, or a management tool...then this is the best that can be done.

Oh yeh, and this is the best version of kazaa 2.6 around and the only one that uninstalls propaly

lol actually i uninstalled right now and said it couldnt remove something... never mind, i redownloaded k-lite 2.4.3 with one of sharedholders links (thank god that guy is around), and all is back to normal.

no it does uninstall propaly, all it is sayin is that those files are in use and kazaa begone cannot uninstall them, but the standard uninstaller does remove the remaining componants

one question - why cant they (the holy developers), add KLExtensions like they did with k-lite?! seems odd to me...

because klextentions uses a fake cd_clint.dll to run, and there isn't a way to get kazaa 2.6 to load a fake cd_clint.dll (yet)

what harm does that cd_clint.dll make anyway? Why don't you make a test build with kle and the real cd_clint.dll and... nevermind, dumb idea.

The latest KLR exe and kazaa #klchat RC loads kppaddon.dll (used by KLE), but its not fully compatible with kazaa 2.6
